GVGRA
The Golden Valley Girls Rodeo Association is made up of members who wanted a place to rodeo locally with their family and friends. Our purpose is to organize a nonprofit association in Eastern Idaho and promote the sport of rodeo for the benefit and protection of our members, and to encourage Rodeo participation by younger and older members to continue the sport of Rodeo. GVGRA yearly membership entitles you to our monthly newsletters, jackpots and year-end awards. Our membership has no age limit and our annual dues are just $40.00. GVGRA has weekly jackpots that include barrels, pole bending, goat tying and breakaway roping. We have age groups from youth to the seniors. Our barrel racing and pole bending are run in a 4-D format, this new way of placing the events and make it possible for the very beginner to be able to compete at their level along with the advanced rider. GVGRA has a rulebook available with each membership that explains our association in detail and gives all the rules and regulations that we follow. We would like to encourage any one interested in Rodeo to attend any of our jackpots listed on our calendar or e-mail us with any questions. New members are always welcome.
